It looks like a strip-mall center that wouldn't get notice from tourists whizzing by on Old Sonoma Road in the Carneros district, but locals have known for nearly 13 years that this is the place to pull in for Jerry Shaffer's solid take on American food. The decor is pleasant but modest; the food is the draw.
