The interior has a sophisticated and exotic appeal, with inlaid tables nestled under arched cubbyholes. Each of the three rooms, however, have a different mood, so you can take your pick. Belly dancers make short appearances throughout the evening, but they don't detract from the true star: the food. Lahlou starts with traditional fare and brightens it for California tastes using mostly organic ingredients.
